Yowza! That sure doesn't look like something anyone would want to be around. Thanks for posting it kind of reminds us how helpless we really are.

Yikes! That could certainly do some damage!
I would not want to get hit with one of those!
I hope you did not sustain any damage from
these monsters! Great weather shot!

this was a big one, my daughter who lives in Dallas was on Henderson Blvd when it started and she actually stopped and got out and picked this one up getting soaked then jumped back in her truck and drove back to her apt & parking garage. She said she couldn't believe she didn't get hit with any of the other ones that fell. She said there was tremendous damage all around from the hail and high winds.

Hmmm, wonder if this is how a regulation size baseball was determined?

The original baseball was a "hailstone sized" ball!

About JWMPER
JWMPER I live in East Texas coming from the TX Panhandle about 33yrs ago so I'm definitely a Texas Native. Wife, Mother & Grandmother, I love to take pictures of just about anything to do with Nature, Weather & my 2 grandsons. Definitely an amateur but hope everyone enjoys what I put on here anyway. Love looking at all the pictures uploaded and there are some really amazing ones. I especially love the ones that are in places I'd love to see in person one day. Have a good shoot everyone.
