Caption: Motorists on the 118 Freeway this morning were treated to the majestic, snow covered mountains of the Angeles Nat. Forest. A strong storm pounded the Southern California area for two days clear leaving us with a spectacular scene not seen to often here. Two years ago this same scene was one of fire and smoke.

Forest. A strong storm dropped many inches of the white stuff locally and up to a foot and more in the upper area of the forest....
