Thank you all for your comments. My best guy uploaded these photos because he thought they were worthy of being seen on wundergound.com.

I probably would not have done it, but I am glad he did, because now I will be watching for other events to photograph. My little camera fits in my purse, and I seldom leave home without it !!

Whether it's in FL or CA, these fires are quite alarming. Thank you for giving notice. I live in Nassau County, FL. Conditions are dry & windy, but we do have a lot of water surrounding us. I feel for those families in the path of the bush and other fires. Take care.

Wow, impressive view of the fire with the sun behind. Hope it doesn't destroy too much property.

About FotoFun47

FotoFun47

I live in Florida near the Atlantic Ocean with my two kitties. We are a happy family, and when I am not taking pictures of the kitties or grandsons, I am busy taking pictures of flowers, clouds, the moon, sunrises and sunsets, the weather, and other events. I take my camera with me everywhere I go because you never know what sights you will see. I am definitely not a professional, but I guess you could say that photography has become my favorite hobby!
