Dominican Republic

Caption: Flooding while I was there was horrible from Ike. Miles of towns were flooded. But nothing like Haiti. The Local News Cast in DR showing far more than what they have here in the US. About 80% Of the homes in Haiti were damaged or destroyed.

About Dpspiderman

Hi, My name is David Paul Murray, I have been taking pictures since I was 8 years old. I got my first camera from my dad, his old Canon AE-1. I had that for years until I updated to the Film Rebel, then I got the First Digital Rebel and had that for a long time and about 2 years ago I got the Canon 40D. Not sure I used the Old Rebel for so long... its so slow comparatively. But anyway, My work is all because of God and the circumstances he allowed in my life in order for me to have the time and imagination to do photography. He led my parents to homeschool me and homeschool me they did starting in 3rd grade. First final 2 years of high school I took courses at TCL (Technical College of the Lowcountry) and got about 62 hours of credits under my belt. I am not 21 years old and doing wedding photography/ family portraiture on the weekends as well as any other events...except for on Sunday. During the week working around photography I work full time with my dad in construction. I have been doing that off and on since I was 12, and full time now for I think 3 years maybe 4..not sure. But all my photography is just that capture of what God shows me. As Ansel Adams said "Sometimes I do get to places just when God is ready to have someone click the shutter." In college he was my choice for my final Art presentation... thanks Ansel for a good grade... HAHA. Anyway, All my work is because God allows, shows and gives my the eyes to see His work in this world. I hope through my photography you enjoy His Creation as much as I do. God Bless David
