One of the few remaining here with Gustav-induced late "Fall foliage" at end of January, along L Verret system waterway... Background maples mostly leafless, already filled out with red clusters of samaras (seed wings)... Trees downed by Gustav clog portions of the canal, but enhance fish habitat...
