I was at a higher elevation when I took this shot of the stark contrast of the sun illuminating the mountains behind some very foreboding clouds. I was totally captivated.

About Decie:

I first became interested in photograpy back in the 1970's with my Canon FTB when I lived in Alaska. Who couldn't in such a picture rich landscape? After moving back to the lower 48, I got away from picture taking due to raising a family and the expense of developing pictures. Many years later, I moved cross country from Florida to Montana and find myself drawn back into it. There is so much to learn about digital cameras, but I'm having a great time doing it. Photography not only opens your eyes to seeing more, you see it more in depth and with more wonder. I'm very, very much an amateur and would absolutely welcome constructive criticism or comments.
