Delta, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: I don't know why the top of this hill is dark but it definitely catches your eye when you see it from the highway. I finally drove down a gravel road trying to get closer to it, but ran into No Trespassing signs and as big Doberman (handsome fella) who escorted me partway back to the highway. As soon as he left, I pulled over and took this.

We would be dangerous together, but maybe we could share a cell! This is an extraordinary shot, Kat! This has every thing. Beautiful clouds, definition of ridges and crevices due to light capture, rich natural colors, and clarity. You nailed it! Congratulations on your deserved AC!

That's our gal! Risk a little jail time
for a great shot. LOL!

It is a very interesting mound and worth
your trouble.

Congratulations on your new AC Kat!

Thank you, Charlotte, although I think it is sagebrush and scrub oak in the foreground, but
there are full-sized trees on the hill behind
this one. Kind of an optical illusion, I guess.

~Congrats~ It is easy to get lost in the size of this until you realize that those are big trees in the foreground.
