Near the end of the drive over McClure Pass there is a stand of aspen trees and you can see the road curve as it begins the road through the canyon toward Redstone and eventually to Carbondale. Although more subtle than Fall's blazing glory, color abounds on these slopes.

when I got out to take pictures, the drive
couldn't have been better, weather wise. Good
thing I didn't wait til today (Monday) because
they were getting snow on some of the passes I
come over!
