Looked promising for a beautiful dawn today; the sky was filled with fantastic streaky clouds, but a big cloud bank was sitting directly over where the sun rose, and the color never developed more than this. It was not a matter of 'nothing gold can stay' so much as 'nothing gold ever arrived,' LOL! I did the best I could with what I had!
