Thank you, Wanda! These poor little irises, which are not much more substantial than tissue paper, are taking a beating from the wind right now (Saturday afternoon). But there are others that haven't opened their buds yet, so I'll probably get another chance later.

Thanks for commenting, Heidrun and Genie! Yes, they are blooming already, but they're in for a rude surprise, as the temps are supposed to drop into the teens tonight (Saturday night), along with high winds. I can try covering them, but mostly I just have to appreciate them during the short time I have them.
