Wonderful capture. I love the vivid colors. Looks like a great old house. It does seem ashame it is empty!

Beautiful house at one time, it is looking more weathered now.

Yup, Mara, I expect that is what will happen. The roof isn't in good shape right now. Also, the wind and rain blowing through those open windows can't be very good for it either. Thanks for commenting!

Beautiful old house! I remember your photographing this old house some time ago. Good to see it is still standing, but once the roof goes, that will be its end....

Thank you, Heidrun! As I said above, there are many such in our area. One of the most dilapidated and picturesque, roof partly collapsed, was used by the fire department for a practice burn before I could photograph it.

Thank you, Julia and Leslie! Julia, it would require more than a "little" fixing, but still could perhaps be saved if someone like you would come along.

Why are we such a throw-away society?

I'd love to have a place like that. A little fixin' and voila! a nifty home.

Thanks for sharing the series and a hearty congratulations on your AC!

The roof line is more interesting in this one & all that golden light is nice. View through the window gets my interest.
