Great shot, hope where you are isn't one of the places due to get more rain (they touched on it during the UK weather last night)!

Gee Delana, this event has certainly given you heaps of reporting opportunities. The videos are great as are your stills. You be careful out there of all that rushing water.

It is surprising how clear the water appears to be....you would think it would be awful muddy. Hope all turns out well for you all.

"everywhere." Does this mean that at the crest the water was an additional 4ft deep over this road?

Thanks Wilma for the comment! This isn't fearsome at all, when it was at 34 feet now that was a little nerving. One of the guys I know that boats on the river all the time said he had to almost lay down in the boat to go under the Black River Bridge. Heck, I could kick myself for not asking him if I could go and get some pics. I will next time :)

Whoa, Delana, having just come back from a weekend camping trips, this looks rather fearsome! Can't imagine facing something like this in the neighborhood. Great weather reporting here.
