Caption: This is the cone end of an extint volcano along the interstate in Southern Colorado. It also has a nickname of the "nipple". I guess it is called the orphan because it is all alone on the flat of the prairie. Wagon trains and early settlers used the orphan as a landmark as it can be seen for a long distance. I liked it.
