Caption: With a low temperature of 15° and with traces of recent snow still lurking in the shadows, these trees can't wait to start spring. Pink trees are just what the doctor ordered to counter winter's grey gloom.

More than two weeks later and these trees are still pretty much the only action in town. Our weather has remained mostly cool and wintry.

So, June, these blooms do have staying power under the right conditions.

I have a feeling that things are about to bust out all over. All it will take is a few warm days. There's a warming trend in the forecast starting tomorrow.

Spring? Must be if the cherries are in blossom. Must look real nice with the snow for contrast.

I heartily agree but I wish those gorgeous blooms would last longer.
