I wonder whether squirrels recognize individual humans. Did this one come out to say hello to me in particular, or does he give anyone on the street the same treatment?

I certainly can't recognize individual squirrels, but chances are good that this is one of the rodents that freeloads on our bird feeders. He probably thinks they are squirrel feeders.
