shenandoah, IA (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: How Cold Is It??? Too damn cold that's what!!! Seems like it did not get as well below zero as forecast here..but what difference? Cold,is cold! So much so,that for the first time in years, this open span of water was misting like a hot springs in Yellowstone!! We Thanked God the geese kept it open, did not get frozen in,and that our favorite adopted domestic duck friends survived the night, and today...warm up promised tomorrow, into the positive 20's! We have been feeding them every day.

Warm thoughts to you and our feathered friends---I hope and pray they make it safely through this terrible winter. It's been a bad one so far. Hugs to you for your hard work, Mindi. :-)

About BEME

BEME

Hi KIDDIES!!! O.K.,,there seems to be a bit of confusion about this photo,,,I AM on the left,,a gal!![MINDI],,and the right-hand pic is of BOB my hubby!! I cloned the two images together,,of us taking pics of each other,,so we could give you folks an idea of who we are,,replacing the previous photo of our two favorite eagle family youngsters...We live in Shenandoah,Ia.,,and enjoy [especially me] taking lots of pictures!! I do most of the posting on here,,that's MY thing..and I try to put up Bobs when he takes some good ones...I would also like for you to check out the older ones from time,to time,,I like to share my images,,though not always the greatest,,just to give you an idea what life is sometimes like here in S.W. Iowa.. I came out here from the East Coast and interior New England, where I lived until 1992,,I also lived in Philly for a few years, and Bob is born and raised here in Shenandoah.,,but loves other places that we have visited too. I am happy to have found this site to learn how to take better photos,,meet new people, and make new friends, and be dazzled by what folks share of their 'world'in pictures on here. THANK YOU WuNDERGROUND! I appreciate all your kind words and mail, and critique as much as I enjoy giving back in kind! SHARE THE LOVE!!
