Awww...Thank you for understanding,my friends!! Yup,,we brave the elements to make sure to take care of our 'charges'! Nikongranny picked up the slack for us back when we had good weather, but we don't expect her to get down there on the ice,but she would get some fabulous close-ups though! :)

That black Indian Runner sure stands out doesn't it?! You've got such a big heart, gal, to be feeding and fretting over them---good thoughts are with you. :-)

I saw a black duck on flight once, in Delaware. Always loved the 'Daffy Duck' cartoons. Glad the wild ones have sanctuary and friends in the extreme weathers!!!

About BEME

BEME

Hi KIDDIES!!! O.K.,,there seems to be a bit of confusion about this photo,,,I AM on the left,,a gal!![MINDI],,and the right-hand pic is of BOB my hubby!! I cloned the two images together,,of us taking pics of each other,,so we could give you folks an idea of who we are,,replacing the previous photo of our two favorite eagle family youngsters...We live in Shenandoah,Ia.,,and enjoy [especially me] taking lots of pictures!! I do most of the posting on here,,that's MY thing..and I try to put up Bobs when he takes some good ones...I would also like for you to check out the older ones from time,to time,,I like to share my images,,though not always the greatest,,just to give you an idea what life is sometimes like here in S.W. Iowa.. I came out here from the East Coast and interior New England, where I lived until 1992,,I also lived in Philly for a few years, and Bob is born and raised here in Shenandoah.,,but loves other places that we have visited too. I am happy to have found this site to learn how to take better photos,,meet new people, and make new friends, and be dazzled by what folks share of their 'world'in pictures on here. THANK YOU WuNDERGROUND! I appreciate all your kind words and mail, and critique as much as I enjoy giving back in kind! SHARE THE LOVE!!
