sonoma coast, as smoke and haze watered eyes and made breathing shallow all day i hoped for fresher air out on the coast. It wasn't entirely clear there either. Off the coast you could see a thin clearing of sky between the fog off the water and the huge smokey sky cover that muted the setting sun.
