Thanks Peg. Yes, I was definitely lucky when the flight got over Tampa. I was on the wrong side of the plane on the same flight last year, and I wanted to see the bridge because I had driven over it a year earlier, so I made it a point to sit on the right side this time. Even saw Naples in the distance as we finally turned for Fort Lauderdale. Unfortunately no such luck during our fly-by of Atlanta, which was completely covered by clouds (was on the wrong side last year too - guess I'll have to try again next year). But I was lucky on the SFO to Cincinnati redeye...flew right over downtown Denver, so had a great middle-of-the-night view of all the city lights, and then the airport about a minute later. Most of my night shots came out blurry, but the airport one is ok, so I might post that one.

About turnuptheheat

I love weather phenomena. Wunderground is the best weather site I've found on the net - been coming here since '98. And as the handle implies, I like it when it gets hot! Humidity too - no problem. Maybe I'll choose MrHumidity as my handle next time. Oh well, not much humidity here in California anyway - at least not in the summertime.
