Caption: As the tide rolls out, the waves create very unique patterns in the wet sand, captured here at sunrise, tidal pools reflecting the shoreline and the pretty pastel color in the sky...
Image Description: Jekyll Island Georgia is the most interesting place on the coast of Georgia. Many of the beaches have driftwood and large oak trees that have been pulled into the surf from years of storms and beach erosion. At low tides, the tidal pools reflect the glorious colors of the clouds at sunrise. The wet sand is rippled from waves coming in and out as the tide recedes. In the background are rocks that have been added to preserve the beach's sand. There are many access points to the beach from the many neighborhoods along the coast. One of those wooden walkway bridges can be seen from this vantage point.
