Caption: The anniversary on Hurricane Sandy is here. To look at the boardwalk at Long Beach after the storm is a Halloween nightmare. The boardwalk on Long Beach Long Island has been restored and completed. Memories are still with us but we have persevered and moved on.

Long Island has slowly crawled back. There are still areas that need much work yet but it will happen. The devastation was incredible and it will take time for some people.
