I grew up in Valley Stream and used to walk around this park with my Dad. (I graduated from VS South HS in 1972.) In winter, we would sometimes build campfires in the north end of the park. Thanks for the memories...

PS. On second thought, I'm not sure this is the park by Central HS. It looks more like N. Woodmere. Memory playing tricks on me.

The one in black and white is much more dynamic in my opinion. Many people here just don't care for black and white photos I've found. Some times black and white creates the right mood and expresses the beauty of a scene better than color, depending upon what you are photographing and your artistic approach. A very beautiful photo nevertheless either way.
