Looks like a lovely dog park. In north central Iowa, it is near impossible to have a dog park within the city limits. Thanks for sharing. M

Quoting taosmtngirl:
Regarding the comment from ChrisAnthemum: I didn't explain in the caption of this photo that the park consists of acres and acres of hilly land, with miles of trails, but also one large area near the parking lot that is level and bare of shrubbery and trees for people who want to play with their dogs instead of walking the trails or the arroyo. This was on a hill above the level playing area, and reminded me of golf balls found way beyond a golf course. Perhaps it was the throw, or perhaps a dog carried it away and dropped it when it stopped to smell something interesting! Jeannie

LOL Jeannie, soon as I saw that ball there, it reminded me of the few 5 or 6 golf balls I have found out at the Rio Pueblo Gorge in the past.
How they get there, I don't know. You are well familiar with the area, and where I go to the gorge, it is a good 3 miles at least beyond the Golf Course.
They have been out in the middle of nowhere, some were near the edge of the gorge, and others just out there amongst the sagebrush. None very near the main parking area.

They let things like that grow in a dog park?!? I wouldn't let my dogs play there! Nice shot, though!
