I do miss the New Mexico mountains! Albuquerque had the Sandia Mountains. Sandia translates to 'watermelon' for the red color. South of the Sandias is the Monzano mountains. Manzano translates to 'apple', again for the red color. Looks like there's a little bit of snow up there in Taos. Hows the ski area looking? Over 30" yet? Wolf Creek ski area, right up the road from ya, is at 50" midway.
