Thanks all. This is about 60 miles north of the Alabama Hills on good ol' highway 395, west of Bishop up 168, in country that is similar to the classic Hollywood Western landscape found in the Alabama Hills, all here on the 'backside' of the Sierra, far from anywhere. My wife and I spent most of the day around camp here, watching the lighting change as thunderstorms built up on the Crest. Glad you all could join us.

Is this anywhere near Alabama Hills? Or closer to Bishop? Glad to see all that white stuff on the mountains! Beautiful shot! Can't wait to head up 395 this August!
