thanks everybody! Actually WeatherWise, this shot was taken many miles from civilization, in the course of a 12 mile 7,200 vertical foot ski tour into the wilds. With all my shots, I strive for capturing how this scenery might have looked two hundred years ago, or two thousand. I'm afraid the Sierra will be yet another barren Great Basin Range in another couple hundred years.
