This one is very, very special - it's poetic! So much wonderful stuff is going on in this photo - my eyes can't stop roaming all over it, moving from one bit of fascinating visual candy to another, to another, to another. There's beautiful symmetry, and yet, it's not truly symmetrical. There's the submerged reeds, most of which are barely visible, but where the dark shadow of one rising above the water lays across one below, magic happens: it becomes visible! Where the stalks exit the water, the water clings gracefully to the reeds, as though wanting to become one with the stalk. All of the above and much more makes this a gem of a photo, in my eyes at least. I'm thankful you caught these images before the morning warmed up and melted the magic away.

About suzi46

Living in the mountains of Western Maine on a 15 acre 'gentleman's farm', in a hand hewn log home, has been a wonderful experience these past 6 1/2 years. But it was time to downsize and make a major lifestyle change..so that's what we did!! Going from the Mt Washington Valley region of Maine/NH all the way down to the "Horse Capital of the World"..Marion County in Central Florida! New photo ops in a totally new and intriguing area of this very large and varied state..let the fun begin!
