Caption: Yes, Mute Swans are beautiful but they are invasive species and have chased Trumpeter Swans out. They are very aggressive to other animal/bird species as well. She is sitting on her nest by the water at Hines Drive Parkway, along the Rouge River, an hour drive SE of Mason, MI.

About smallcarnivore

smallcarnivore

I'm just learning how to see and use my camera and am in awe at the magical photos of our magnificent earth portrayed here. They inspire me to open my eyes and crank my neck more often than a body ought. I loved the outdoors before setting eyes on your photos, but, I'm learning to see things differently now because of what I see in wunderground. Thanks for the inspiration.
