Look into my eyes...

South Kingstown, RI (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: ...fill the feeder...fill the feeder... I don't normally get these notoriously surly red squirrels at the feeder (just the usual grays), but this little fellow has been a frequent visitor. This guy sat at my window staring at me for a very long time without flinching, even as Ronan Gray:Squirrel Hunter (my Lab) was going bananas on the other side. He only moved once I did his bidding and filled the feeder...tenacious bugger! But cute...

Can you blame him? Maybe he drew the short straw and was bidding for the entire gang?
VERY CUTE! I'm such a push-over for animals! You should see the birds in my yard and the hummers at my feeders! Great shot!

Nice portrait! At first I thought it was a European variety, but I guess it is one of our Red squirrels. They are lightening fast, so you were blessed it stayed still.

Thanks, Eileen - they're cute, but like I said, surly! And haha - I think he kind of was, Joe... When I go outside and there's one in a tree it "yells" at me and, I swear, throws stuff...
