there's some serious length to that tail! lovely shot with the muted background colors nicely complimenting the colors of the bird.

Born and raised in the Panhandle and was transferred to Midland after the last oil bust. I am remarried with 7 children (her mine and ours) and 10 grandchildren. I have always enjoyed taken photographs of things, not people since the age of 10. My mother gave me their old camera an Ansco Clipper, when they got a new 35mm camera that took colored photos. The photos images that I took where so small you could not tell what they were. I wasted a lot of film in my growing up process. Now we have digital, this is great!
