Thank you for all the nice comments :) ... and yes, the bushes were frozen for protection against the cold. I'm not sure how it works but apparently when they freeze the bushes it keeps the temperature from dipping below 32 (temps dipped down into the teens the last two nights)

I agree. Great weather series. Did the farmer freeze them to protect them against the low temps? I remember reading that some growers do this for some crops.
