Thank you Wilma, Kat, Lori and Gil!
Quoting Kennebunker:
Fabulous! Such a great show of color, and an hour's performance? Wow! Kudos, Kim, and congratulations on the new Blue Border in your gallery. I've often wondered just how far apart folks can be to see the same sound and cloud action - do you know?

Yes, I believe it is the same one seen in Topeka Kat. Wilma I know Nikongranny caught it over in SW Iowa as well. I don't know how far one can see the same thing but always wondered. On occasion I, Nikongranny and LarryD have posted sunsets from one end of the Mo Valley to the other about 100 miles or so and at times they looked similar and at other times they didn't.

I love sun pillars, too, Kim and this is a good
one, and in such a beautiful sky! Do you think
this is the same one that is in the AC shot next
to yours from Topeka, Kansas, or just a cool
coincidence? Congratulation om your AC for this
beauty!

Kim--- this was a very beautiful sunset for the midwest today, Great capture here. I had to post one too, just because it was such a glorious ending to a very nice day this December 15th. This needs a blue border. :0) Karen

About ruralartist

ruralartist

There's just something about the weather that fascinates me, perhaps its living on the great plains. Our daily lives are influenced by it and living on a land with no mountains, big ravines, waterfalls, trees and such tends to make the sky the star of the show here. Hope you enjoy perusing my images. -Kim
