Very unusual perspective. You really backed up for that one. I should have seen that angle when I was there. Just going from memory I can't figure where you were when you took this one. Nice, I like it.

I was in the Parkinglot by the ranger station just headed up the road to the tower....on my knees.

Nice shot! I call it amazing!
I was in awe when I visited it.
Did you get more shots like
after you got on the grounds?
Please share more shots!
It is located in Wyoming, isn't it?

Thanks Kathy, yes it is Wyoming, don't know what I was thinking.....maybe I wasn't! I plan on posting some more but by the time I get things edited out of RAW format they will all be archived. I was without net connection for a lot of my trip and by the time I got home it was too late to post my storm photos over the mountains. :(

A different shot of the tower, poking up behind the hill. A nice variation.

About ruralartist

ruralartist

There's just something about the weather that fascinates me, perhaps its living on the great plains. Our daily lives are influenced by it and living on a land with no mountains, big ravines, waterfalls, trees and such tends to make the sky the star of the show here. Hope you enjoy perusing my images. -Kim
