Very interesting capture. So how tall is the wave? Hard to tell without a "surfer" in there for perspective.

Very cool shot, nice to see a bore on a river other than on the Severn or Parrett (the river that runs thru my town). Note: There is a supermoon in September which should produce some large bores! Congrats on blue.

I just learned that this bore tide takes approximately 6 hours to make its journey up the inlet and Turnagain Arm. Understandable considering the distance from start to end. Thanks, all, for the wonderful comments and VIP slot.

What fun! I've watched the tidal bore in the Bay of Fundy, and it's like a wall of water walking into the land. Very cool!
