I thank everybody for the comments. I am surprised nobody asked if this was the light house in Forrest Gump. Yes, this is when he was running and running.

Thanks, Kennebunker. It was exciting and entertaining to return home after years of being away. It's almost as if everything got smaller from what I remember as a kid. This was one of my favorite places to play growing up.

Perfect! This is indeed iconic of the rockbound coast of Maine - and who doesn't love dreaming about a sail over to Monhegan? Kudos to you, Rob, and congratulations on the AC recognition!

About robb04047

robb04047

I have a full time job during the day which deals with workforce optimization. I have been fortunate to travel the country as well as Europe and Asia. My Frequent Flyer Miles replaced an old Minolta SLR that was stolen 20 years ago. I used my miles and purchased the Canon T1i. It was love at first click. Taking pictures helps me forget about all the bad things in the world. Photography forces you to focus solely on the intimate beauty of nature.
