@ KisMoKus. It would appear I did have you all wrong. I misunderstood what you were saying. Please accept my apologies. I definitely misunderstood the shadows and flat comments.
BTW, TO ALL READERS OF THIS COMMENT I have NO problem with criticism. I would appreciate it along with some advice to go with it.

Quoting noneinc:
@KisMokus. I don't know what your are "hinting at or implying here. but if you like it, say so.
If you don't like it, that's fine. Just say I don't like it or give low scores, OR both.
If you are just using a little friendly banter,I'm all for it but give it a wink or a smile or a tounge-out or something so I/we know it a joke.
None of this is going to bother me.
Scores and confusing words mean nothing to me (and probably most members). It's just fun and games for me.
If I have you all wrong I sincerely appologize.
I just want to keep it fun.

____________________________________________

It appears that you took offense at my complimentary comment about your photo.

As I said, the picture has interesting lighting. Directly following that [COMPLIMENTARY STATEMENT], I continued in that same vein, by explaining the first sentence, in that I observed that the lighting of the [INTERESTING] picture has no shadows, and it has muted shades, and [THEREFORE] it presents a flat appearance. [that is, FLAT, or WITHOUT DEPTH, which is BECAUSE OF THOSE "interesting" LIGHTING ATTRIBUTES]

Then, as though struck by a cosmic thunderbolt, in a completely separate paragraph, I also noticed that those scraggly tree branches [which you yourself labeled as SPOOKY] reminded me of my ex-wife's hair.

Fantastic Halloween image, Mark. Aside from that, the branches and composition are unusual and evocative. It just went into my Favorites.

I Initially said I don't comment much but I found myself commenting a lot. I was never happy with just saying "Nice shot" "Very nice" "Great shot" etc so I decided to leave the comments to the pros. You all say it so much better. Thank you all for your kind comments and I will continue to view and rate and occasionally add my 2 cents.Mark
