This is the kind of depth that our high sierras gets really often, in fact most years, not really rare for our Ca. mountains!

This part of the Ca. Sierras can get some really heavy snow storms and feet after feet of snow and more! Snow can still be over the mountains in Aug. from the heavy deep snow pack! Thanks to all of you special people again for your great comments! Enjoyed reading them all, our family of photographers is hard to beat! :)

Shirley, that sign should say, "Whoa, Nellie!!!!" Wonderful colors, so patriotic: red, white and blue! Happy New Year from someone in west-central Ohio who appreciates your love of photography and not going anywhere without our trusted friend, the camera! The whole series is nice! - Julie in Ohio

About myshare

myshare

Hi my name is Shirley,I am a 69 years of age female who loves taking pictures of all the beauty that is around us everyday, I hardly miss the opportunity to take a photo of the beauty. I live in the foothills of Northern Ca. gateway to the sierra's of Ca. with my husband and our 2 female cats which we adore.I am so hooked on taking my camera with me when we go anywhere, that should I forget it I am lost! I never knew what I was missing before I got into picture taking, there are so many things of beauty out there and now I know for years I over looked a lot of the everyday beauty around me! I absolutely love WunderPhoto and getting to see what others have taken and posted for our enjoyment. I hope some of what I share brings about a little pleasure to all of you.
