I almost experienced sensory overload when I looked
at this fabulous garden! Everything here is
either beige or white. This looks like Heaven
to me! I would have my coffee there every
morning. Congratulations on your AC, Mara, and
enjoy that gorgeous garden!

not all trees lose leaves all at once in autumn like in the temperate zones. some are semi-evergreen deciduous and shed year round, like magnolias. the live oak doesn't lose its leaves until early March, rapidly followed by the catkins and new leaves. we have frost but we have not had a hard freeze (below 25 for more than 4 hours in over two years). Our damaging freeze this year came just a couple weeks ago with 26 and below freezing for almost 12 hours.

Ohhh, how pretty, Mara! Yes, your seasons do seem to be summer, fall, spring, and then summer again. No real "winter", although you do lose leaves on the trees. Do you get a frost? Love your garden shots - and oh, do I envy you the ability to garden just about year 'round. Kudos, and AC congratulations to you!
