Kathy's great. A striking resemblance to our nature, or even further north))
I did not think that Minnesota is Taiga)))
We live on 56 latitude, north of Minnesota - 47 Latitude))
Amazing Gulf Stream.
100 km south of Izhevsk - forest steppe, I have such shoots, although filmed in winter).

Thanks, Gene :)
When I first saw this cloud down in Duluth as I was heading north it resembled a huge plane's nose, coming in for a crash landing on earth. It even had long wavy broken streamers of clouds behind what would have been the fuselage. I was fascinated by it but only caught a few glimpses here and there so I didn't get any clear shots of it. :(

About minnesotamom

Hi! My name is Kathy and I live in northern Minnesota, USA, where the winter temps have dipped down to -60º below zero F. The summers used to be mild but in recent years have been up in the 90ºs---too hot for me. I love being able to travel the world from my office chair, through all your great photos! I've learned tons about photography and editing photos thanks to all the great people on here and their willingness to share tips. Thank you to all you Wunderfriends who take time to look and leave notes---I deeply appreciate it. :-)free hit countersCreate your own visitor map!
