Taken at 5:51 this morning. The constellation Orion is in the upper right with Canis Major below. The bright object on the left is Venus, and the constellation Gemini is above it. Very beautiful time of day!

As a former astronomer I am an avid sky watcher. I have lived in New Mexico for about 10 years and am constantly amazed by the beautiful skies. My favorite subjects to photograph are the skies of course, cats (I rescue strays), and robots (I have a HUGE collection).
