Thanks everyone!! I had put my camera down for awhile, so this will be the impetus to start taking it with me everwhere I go.

Eggscellent! Love the writing on the wall - hope that doesn't mean that time is short for this old beauty! You found an especially good moment to capture the feel of the places with that snow on the roof, and the frozen fog on the grasses. Kudos, Maureen, and congratulations on the AC recognition!

I'm the same way, pass stuff and just have to stop and snap a pic of it. You never know, tomorrow it could have been torn down, so now its preserved at least on film.

About maureen01

maureen01

I once thought I would always and forever live on an island. I lived in Key West for over 20 years, then moved north (PA/NY border)when Key West became much too populated. In my photo, I'm sailing to Block Island, which I often refer to as "my northern Key West" -- that is, the way Key West was back in the 70s, 80s when I lived there. I work as a therapist with small children for NY State -- the Early Intervention program (kids birth - 3 years). I'm on the road a lot, so try to carry my camera with me. I go through periods where I put my camera aside for awhile, but this site encourages me to keep going and I love the feedback. Very supportive!
