Santa Fe, NM (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: There must be some fire in the Jemez mountains as we could see a smoke trail all day originating there. The picture is taken in Santa Fe, you can see the St. Vincent hospital in the foreground. Sorry for the picture quality, the already set and I didn't have a tripod for the camera.

Maybe it's the same smoke we see from Taos. I've posted photos of that. On SF Natl forest I know the big one is 20 miles W of Espanola, and it is approx 60 mi SW of Taos. Another smaller not too far is between Espanola and Cuba. Gets very smoky here at times. Thanks for sharing. gil

About mamarie

I currently live in the high Rockies of Colorado. There is a lot of scenery to capture here being surrounded by gorgeous mountains in all directions. I also like to capture weather events. I lived in Romania and New Mexico before, from where I also posted pictures.
