Yes CybrTeddy - RenoSoHill is correct. This setting allowed maximum exposure without too much star trailing. I am fortunate enough to live in (very) rural Michigan, surrounded by large tracts of farmland and state forest. When I happened to look out the door this AM I was shocked by the intensity of the stars, so I started my day very early!

Oh wow, impressive. What kind of ISO setting where you using for this? I've been planning to get into astrophotography more often, so I figure using an ISO of 3200 will work. I have the displeasure of living in Florida, so I have to resort to Photoshop techniques to reduce light pollution.
