Lovely beach photo, Char!
And I loved the photo of Ship Island below. It's such a shame it's being undermined and will be washed away and nothing is being done about preserving it.

Ship Island in the distance. The French, Spanish, British, Confederate and Union flags have all flown over Ship Island where Fort Massachusetts was built following the War of 1812, with brick walls during 1859-1866, and remained in use until 1903.
Hurricanes Katrina, Gustav, Ike & Georges have almost washed the East Ship Island away and water laps at the Fort walls located on the West part of the island.
