Beautiful shot, Charlotte! You are truly a servant of God after his own heart. Over the past couple of years you have been an inspiration, source of kindness, caring and compassion. All these are traits, from various scripture in the Holy Bible that God favors for all people to possess and share. God Bless! HAPPY EASTER!

"Americas founders TRUSTED IN GOD" ...
Fortunately, the Lord does not look only to the USA to form his glorious body (it would be presumptuous!). Every believer born again is just as precious to Him (the flag of a particular country really has nothing to do indeed) Praise the Lord of all !
Nice picture anyway ...

I never said the Lord only loves people in the USA or that only the USA has Good Friday. For Gosh sakes! If I had titled the photo "Good Friday Only In The USA" or the Lord Blesses only the USA then you could have a problem with it.

my art=my interpretation
It's Easter time all over the world with many ways people celebrate or don't celebrate. It is their choice (at least in the USA & thank GOD for that!). God Bless All

Great AC shot!!!...I am glad someone else remembered the flag on the moon...love is sacrificing sometimes selfish needs, to help improve the lives of others, including the seeking of knowledge...closed minds have no forward motion...!

Quoting KisMokus:

Why would the American flag have anything relationship with a religious observance which is practiced worldwide?

Glad you asked you fuzzy little guy.

In America we use the phrase IN GOD WE TRUST.
On Good Friday Jesus said "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit" Commit= TRUST

Jesus was a teacher & demonstrated the ultimate lesson, on Good Friday, to TRUST IN GOD.

Christians= TRUST IN GOD
Americas founders TRUSTED IN GOD

There was an eclipse on Good Friday so the moon fits too. The moon also has another importance= the date of Easter is the first Sunday after the full moon following the March equinox ......oh & there is a flag on the Moon too!!!

Thanks approvers & all WU friends!
