Thanks Heidrun. We just got that nuc that day from Baton Rouge and was moving the frames into our own hive bottom . I was so excited to see the honey bees out the next day on some flowers in my garden. For some time now I have seen bumble bees but no honey bees around our place. I hope these guys make it in their new home.

WOW- great shot- your bees really have been busy already !
You are bringing back a lot of childhood memories with your bee photos - my dad was a beekeeper for a while and I was his helper !
