Sturgeon Bay, WI (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: One of the small boats from the Selvick tug fleet sits at the dock in Sturgeon Bay, Wis. The bay is still iced over, and the ore boats that are leaving Bay Shipbuilding after wintering here are having a tough time.

Image Description: While waiting for the Arthur Anderson to come through yesterday, I snapped a few photos of the Selvick tugs that were still at the dock. (Some were out assisting the ore boat.) This is the Cameron O., one of the smaller tugs. The Michigan Street Bridge is in the background.

Thanks, RNJoel! The waterfront is one of my favorite places to go looking for good photos--and perfect place to watch the weather!

Wow, and here we are basking in about 70 degrees
in SW Oregon. However, we are scheduled for lower
temps, wind and rain for the next 12 days.

Congratulations on this great weather related shot.

Thank you, BoazR! Doesn't look much like spring around here, does it?

About lablover47

I live in Sturgeon Bay, Door County, Wis., with my husband George and a beagle named Lady, whom we rescued through the humane society. I still love labs, and got my handle from the two I once owned, so I've kept the handle that everyone knows me by. I love photography, I love early morning hours, and I love finding beauty in ordinary things.I also write a blog in the style of my former newspaper columns:
