My granddad had palomino draft horses, I'm trying to remember the breed.

It's a wonderful shot of a gentle animal.

Thanks to you both! He caught my eye immediately. He seemed friendly, too; seemed to be waiting for me to go down and talk with him.

About lablover47

lablover47

I live in Sturgeon Bay, Door County, Wis., with my husband George and a beagle named Lady, whom we rescued through the humane society. I still love labs, and got my handle from the two I once owned, so I've kept the handle that everyone knows me by. I love photography, I love early morning hours, and I love finding beauty in ordinary things.I also write a blog in the style of my former newspaper columns:http://monicaspen.wordpress.com/
