Ojiisan.. his beak was towards me..the sun to his back..I was on the pier in the AC looking back towards the land..the sun was to my right as i faced the bird..

From what I can see, the heron is looking to his left, AWAY from the camera position. The shadow on that wall is pointing TOWARD the camera position.. Howzatt?? Is there another bird there casting the shadow?? Or, is he actually looking toward the camera and I just can't see his beak??
I'm so confused!! (whine)
