Caption: I know I've posted many shots of this formation but I'm so fascinated by the colors, textures and the continuing erosion of the sandstone.They think itsed to be a big sea cave and then the roof caved in and it became a giant bowl. The asphalt pieces you can see in the lower left corner are remnants of the old walkway.

How cool is that?! The larger, flat surface of
the rock looks like rows of ocean waves! You
caught the light just right to show detail of
both inside and outside! Great shot, Kristina!
